My Budapest (17): Another Hungarian Guard’s demonstration in the Heroes Square

Today, around 15:00 there was another demonstration in the Heroes Square, organized by the far-right party Jobbik and the Magyar Gárda, celebrating the latter’s fifth year of existence. Read an article about this demonstration on index.hu (link in Hungarian) and watch a short movie here. Interestingly enough, one was able to see the same faces as in the latest far-right demonstration on March 17 this year (link). Below, some pictures: the demonstrators came from the Andrássy Avenue and stopped in the Heroes Square:

Below, some placards, from left to right: (1) ‘Thank you for your presence to support our cause. Your safety is also important’ [the meaning is: the Roma are protected – by human rights and such – but the safety of the non-Roma is “also” important)]; (2)’There was no reckoning [or: accounting]. But we don’t forget!’; (3) ‘Let’s make today the holocaust day of remembrance for the victims of the Roma’ [I would like to than The Contrarian Hungarian for helping me with the translation – Google Translate really sucks when it comes to Hungarian]:

Some portraits of interesting Jobbik-people:

And some portraits of the (very few) opponents:
